About Delon
Delon Nicole Starkey is an author living in Ohio with her two beautiful children and her amazing husband. After growing up in Oklahoma, she will most likely always consider herself an “Okie-gal” at heart, and with extended family still residing there, she visits often. She’s passionate about her faith, family, friendships, writing, and sneaking off to local coffee shops whenever she can.
When she’s not behind the computer typing away, she has an ever-growing collection of thrillers and rom-coms that fight for her attention. In September of 2022, she released “It Crescendos: A Poetry Collection,” a collection of poems covering topics such as love, faith, mental health, and much more.
Her debut full-length mystery novel, “The House on Monarch Street,” will be released fall of 2023. (Pre-orders will be available soon!)

About My Book
"It Crescendos" is my first self-published poetry collection spanning almost two decades of my years spent in Oklahoma. This collection of poetry dives deep into some of my lowest of lows and some of my highest moments in life. A crescendo starts off soft, and then it gradually increases with volume. Our lives are often like that. They may seem small and invisible at times, but I'm living, breathing, and rejoicing because my voice is ever-increasing! The weight of the world has not and WILL NOT crush me or pull me under; but rather, my voice has a new strength, a new hope, and my life will continue to crescendo in boldness and life. I'm here to encourage you to do the same. Your story isn't over, this is just the beginning.
